The owner decided that they would like the drainfield to be designed around Testhole #2 instead of Testhole #1. Due to this fact, a sieve analysis was pulled on 2/4/2022 at 4-5 feet below grade and submitted to a lab for analysis. As can be seen on the attached sieve, the soils were classified as a GW. Per the testhole by Forge Engineering the soils get "Siltier with Depth". Based upon this statement, two additional sieves were pulled at 6 feet and 8 feet. Per the attached sieves, the soils get "finer' with depth and were classified as a SP -SM at 8 feet. In short, it is assumed that there is sand from 8-13 feet and a sand filter would not be required. See attached drawings for drainfield design criteria. We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.
