Slope Waiver: We hereby request a separation distance waiver between the proposed septic system to a slope greater than 25% to a distance of zero feet (0'). The soils in this area are typically Hydrologic Soils Group A which contains organics underlain by sand and gravel, as shown on the attached soils log. Due to the nature and drainage capacity of the soils found in the area (HSG A) the designed infiltration line of 46% for septic system installation on steep slopes should be used instead of the assumed/worst case soil classification infiltration line of 25%. The slopes and soil types enable installation of the proposed system without the system effluent "daylighting" at any distance of concern, see attached section, (sheet 2 of design package).
