We propose to install shallow trenches and 1500-gallon STEP tank to serve the proposed 4- bedroom residence. The design is based on the attached test holes conducted in 2023. Groundwater was observed at 8 during the excavation (perhaps frost) and at 8.5 during monitoring in October 2023. The property will be served by the proposed well located as noted on the design. The slopes are approximately 5-10% at the proposed upgrade location. There are steeper slopes downhill and the conventional absorption fields are to be 50+ to any slopes greater than 25% and if or when any CAT III or advanced wastewater absorption field is installed, it will be 35+ from slopes greater than 25%. Also, a proposed berm is to be installed to direct any potential overland effluent flow 100+ to the downhill ditch as shown. The lot and area are served by private water.
