4. From October 15 to April 15, a subsurface soil absorption system under construction during freezing weather
shall be either:
a. Opened and Closed on the same day, or
b. Covered, sealed, and heated to prevent freezing

To whom it may concern:
This is a request for a change order on the above referenced permit. A new test hole
was completed and found excellent soils, see attached soil log. The well has been
drilled as shown on the new site plan. The owner would like to delete the STEP tank
system for a gravity flow system. This new system is located greater than 50 feet
from a slope greater than 25% on the north side of the lot and will not impact any of
the neighbors or encroach on any wells, septic or open water issues. The slope at the
leach field area is about 10-12 percent towards to the north.
