3. The wastewater code requires inspections during the installation. The engineer shall notify the Development
Services Department per AMC 15.65. Provide notification by calling (907) 343-7904 (24/7).
4. From October 15 to April 15, a subsurface soil absorption system under construction during freezing weather
shall be either:
a. Opened and Closed on the same day, or
b. Covered, sealed, and heated to prevent freezing

Re: CHANGE ORDER FOR Septic permit

To Whom it may concern:
This is a request for a change -order on the septic permit for the above referenced lot.
This new house has two offices which were converted to bedrooms with closets,
therefore the septic system needs to be upgraded to 6 -bedrooms. A 3000 -gallon
steel tank and twin pods have been shown on the plans and the leach field has been
revised for 2 -feet of effective with an application rate of 2 gpd/sf. The trench length
of 63 feet has not changed. This change order design will not impact any of the
surrounding properties.

To Whom it may concern:
This is a request for a septic and well permit on the above referenced lot. A single
tests hole was excavated and found poorly graded gravel GP with some sand layers
for the entire 12-foot depth. The perc rate was 4 minutes per inch. Water was
observed at 12 feet and raised to 11 feet after the 7-day monitoring period. The slope
at the leach field area is 5 to 10 percent around the area. No cut banks or open water
are within 100 feet of the proposed site. This new septic and well design will not
impact any of the surrounding properties.
