The proposed system will serve a proposed 5-bedroom, single-family home. This design is for a 5-bedroom structure. Wells The subject property is not currently served by a water well. Neighboring parcels are served by private water wells. There are no wells within 100’ of the designed septic system. Soils AK Built Construction & Design, LLC (AK Built) is utilizing a soils report performed by Forge Engineering. A test hole, percolation test, and groundwater monitoring occurred on June 19th, 2025. Soils are classified as silty sand (SM) with gravel. Groundwater was not encountered in TH-01 (18’ BGS). Groundwater was observed at least seven (7) days later and confirmed to be absent. AK Built inspected the test hole for groundwater on July 31st, 2025, and confirmed the absence of water. The percolation rate in TH-01 was 0.46 minutes per inch. An application rate of 1.2 gallons/day/square feet shall be used for a conventional wastewater system. Wastewater disposal systems The designed wastewater disposal system is a deep trench system with 96” of sewer rock below the pipe invert. Neighboring parcels with existing disposal sites do not impact the subject parcel and the proposed system will not negatively impact neighboring parcels. Drainage There is no surface water located within 100’ of the designed system. Topography The designed system is located west of center along the east-west orientation of the property and south of center along the north-south orientation of the property. The surrounding property slopes up-gradient to the northwest and slopes down-gradient to the southeast. Steep slopes exist at least 50-feet from the designed system, as shown in the plans. The proposed deep trench system is installed on a slope less than twenty-five percent. Final grading of the deep trench system shall be at a slope not greater than a 3H:1V (33%).
