Due to the location of the sewer main and stormwater main, there is no location on the lot that is greater than 100 ft from both of these components simultaneously, which is required and as is summarized per MOA 15.55.060 Table A-1. The following analysis and requirements will ensure that the well is not at risk for contamination from these sources: 1. The perspective location of the well, as shown on the site plan, is approximately 100+ feet away from the sewer main and -74 ft away from the stormwater main, based on publicly available information and as -built information collected by Timberline Surveying. The well site location was evaluated using criteria outlined in the District Office Engineers memo dated January 3, 1985, Subject: Separation Distance Waiver Guidelines for SCRO. The values selected for this analysis are from the actual conditions found based on the Well log from Thurman Drive Lot 1, and are presented in the document titled Thurman Drive Lot 2 Separation Calculations. They need to be updated after the well has been drilled to confirm values. 2. The well casing should be sealed with bentonite from ground surface to at least a minimum of 20 feet below ground surface and have a sanitary seal installed. 3. The in a minimum 10 -foot radius around the well should be mounded and graded away to prevent surface infiltration. The general drainage of the lot (based on the 2015 MOA LI DAR survey) is nearly flat, ranging from 0% to less than 1 % grade. 4. The stormwater drain appears to serve a relatively confined area, primarily receiving surface water drainage from Thurman Drive towards Jewel Lake. The line also appears to have been constructed in the last few years, so it is unlikely that the line is compromised. The line was constructed with CPEP material, that is known for having a long shelf life and low risk of dangerous leakage. Granting this waiver should not cause any eminent health hazard concerns or adverse effects to the homeowners or neighboring lots.
