Recently I did a soils log on this lot 20 feet from the crib in order to determine whether or not the water table was too close to the crib. The soil is a beautiful clean gravel, and no water was encountered. The hole was dug to 12.6 feet and the base of the crib is definitely over 9 feet above any possible water table. SHAFER CIVIL ENGINEER 694-2979 A sewer system adequacy test was performed on the system located on the referenced property as you requested. The septic tank was pumped and verified to have a capacity of 1000 gallons. The seepage pit was charged with 1000 gallons of fresh water and after a period of 24 hours all the water which had been added to the crib had per- colated out. It can be concluded from this test that the waste water disposal system serving the three bedroom residence located on this property is currently functioning adequately. However, the system cannot be guaranteed against sub- sequent failures.
