Dear Mr. Buchholz:
Enclosed is a sketch, soils log and computation for drainfield and
septic tank for a proposed community sewer system to serve 16 lots
which will be proposed for Lot 4 Sea--v-ie Heights Subd. and is shown
on the attachments. 01'',7�1_.
We are also proposing a community water system for this development
and are coordinating this with the State Dept. of Environmental Conser—
vation.
Basically, we are proposing the construction of a standard municipal
type sewer collection system and will use Lot 11 for a septic and drain—
field system until such time as public sewer is available in the area.
The system then could be drained to the north when and if the gravel
pits are developed and served with sewer.
The proposed lot to be used for the drainfield will have room for an
additional replacement system if needed in the future.
We request approval to proceed with the sewer system as shown.

Seaview Heights Subd,
Enclosed is a sketch showing a proposed subdivision of Lot 4 Seaview
Heights into 17 lots. As shown, we propose the construction of a Class A
public water system to serve the lots. We also propose using Lot 11
for a community sewer system with septic tank.and drainfield which
we will,coordinate with the Municipality Department of Health and Environ—
mental Protection.
We request approval for construction of the well at this time. When
the well is developed and depth, drawdown and capacity known, we will
submit additional plans for approval of the distribution system.
We plan to use individual storage tanks in each dwelling unit if the
well and pump system can be designed to at least 70 GPM output for
peak demand.

We have reviewed the plans and specifications for the subject project.
The project is hereby approved for construction for the items with which
this Department is concerned. This letter constitutes, the permit required
by A.S. 46.03.720(a) for approval of sewerage systems.
Enclosed with this letter is a "Certificate to Construct" for the drinking
water system. The "Approval to Operate" section of the certificate must
be completed by a representative of this Department prior to placing the
system in operation.
