The proposed systems will serve an existing four-bedroom house. The existing trench, installed in 2003, is in failure. A diverter valve will be installed between the two fields. The existing 1500-gallon S.T.E.P. tank will be inspected and replaced if necessary. The lot is served by a private water system. 1. So~ls. See the attached soils log. Ground water was monitored for 7 days. No ground water was measured in the monitor to a depth of 14 feet below ground surface. Bedrock was not encountered in the test hole. Three test holes were excavated on April 18, 2002. The soils report and a percolation test result are attached. Ground water was monitored through the seasonal high water. No bedrock was encountered in the test hole. Ground water was monitored at a depth of eight feet below ground level in the test hole at the monitoring on May 15, 2002. The lot is approximately 4.078 acres in size. Tract slopes to the south at approximately 1-3 percent in the area of the test holes. The western portion of the lot is extremely steep and undevelopable. The proposed installation will be located in the northern portion of the lot. The proposed well will be located south of the proposed system, greater than 100 feet from the proposed system. The proposed location is greater than 100 feet away from existing neighboring wells and 25 feet from the water service lines. The surrounding wells are located greater than 100 feet from the proposed installation. The proposed installation will not affect the future development of the surrounding or existing lots. Enstar has a high pressure main running through this lot. The proiposed system will be outside the Enstar easements. See the attached design.
