Two test holes where excavated on the property by Wallace Homes. The septic system will be designed around the 30 foot radii of these test holes. We are proposing that a 1500 gallon S.T.E.P. tank and a bed type drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: Attached is a log which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. 2. BED DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 17.8 & 24 minutes/inch b. Application Rate: 0.4 gallons/day/ft c. Number of Bedrooms: 4 d. Design Flow: 600 gallons per day e. Minimum Absorption Area: 1500 ft f. Total Depth: 2.0 feet (maximum at any point) g. In short, there are no slope concems I am unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.
