Two test holes where dug on the property. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radii of these test holes. We are proposing that a new 1500 gallon septic tank and also a deep trench type drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached log which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. It is our opinion that due to the overall appearance of the soils, an application rate of 0.6 gallons/day/!t2 should be used. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 5 & 30 minutes/inch b.
