Box 102954 ige, Alaska, 99510 )071272-8218 Fax My firm was contacted to investigate the possibility of installing a new septic system on this undeveloped lot. A single test hole was excavated on May 3, 2003 on the lot. The soils report and a percolation test result is attached. Ground water was monitored for three months. No bedrock was encountered in the test hole. No ground water was encountered in the test hole or at the monitoring on August 29, 2003. The lot is approximately 21,538 square feet in size. Lot 8has a high ridge in the center and slopes to the north at approximately 15% percent and to the sout at a rate of approximately 10% in the area of the test holes, and then steepens to approximately 15 percent on the extreme southern portion of the lot. A creek flows along the southern property line. The 100' creek set back was staked. The proposed installation will be located in the central portion of the lot. The lot is served by AWWU water system. The proposed location is greater than 200 feet away from existing neighboring wells and 25 feet from the water service lines. The surrounding wells are located greater than 200 feet from the proposed installation. The proposed installation will not affect the future development of the surrounding or existing lots.
