To whom it may concern: The proposed 4 bedroom house will be served by a private well and septic system. Two test holes were excavated on the property. We are proposing that a 1250 gallon septic tank and a 5 - wide trench type drainfield be installed. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 -foot radii of these testholes. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. It is our opinion that an application rate of 0.6 gallons/day/ft2 should be used. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 12 & 30 minutes/inch b. Proposed Application Rate: 0.6 gallons/day/ft2 c.
