The owner and I have spoken about the cost of moving forward with new field. The result is to replace the tank with a 1500 gallon STEP Tank and continue to use the existing field. SEPTIC TANK REQUIREMENTS The existing failed septic tank is located under a low rise deck and will be pump and hauled offsite. The new tank will be relocated to the south side of the home maintain ten-foot separation from the foundation. The new tank will be 1500 gallon STEP tank meeting the AMC Chapter 15.65. The tank has adequate cover without insulation DRAIN FIELD CONNECTION We are proposing to connect to the existing septic field as shown on the attached drawings. SURFACE WATERS There is no surface water within 100 feet of the proposed tank. Drainage arrows on the site plan indicate the slope and direction of stormwater runoff.
