The house was built in 1966 and has an undocumented septic system. The homeowner plans to move the house, add a bedroom, and install a new septic system. The proposed septic system is designed for 3 bedrooms, although the house will be 2 bedrooms. The existing septic system will be abandoned in place. The proposed design is based upon a test hole dug on August 4, 2004. A deep trench is proposed, between 6.5 ft and 12.5 ft. The test hole was dug to a total depth of 20 ft. No water was encountered during digging the hole or after 7 days of monitoring. A percolation test was run between 7.5 and 8 ft, (no deeper due to safety reasons). The percolation rate in the sand and gravel stratum was less than 1 minute per inch. The soil is of sufficient quality to preclude the use of a sand filter. The soil log is attached. Added 10' of pipe. Set pump on well head and pump well dry. Left the pump to recover for 1 hour. Started the pump and completed well test. The well produced .42 gpm at time of test. Collected water samples and delivered to the lab. 6/18/21— Customer requested total well depth and total casing depth - No well log was located on the MOA on-site records or on WELTS. Customer wanted to know if the well can be hydro-fracked. 6/21/21— Pulled pump from well and checked the well depth at 204'. Static water level 48'. The well is cased to the bottom and is not able to be hydro-fracked. Pump was initially set at 159'. Per customer request, drop pipe was added to set the pump at the bottom of the well. Set pump on well head and flush well. Well produced very dirty water. Installed pump protection and let pump run over night. 6/22/21— Water running clean after pumping overnight. Final pump set at 200'. Retested well, see well test report. Well produced 1.1 gpm at time of test. Reset pump on pitless.
