OF I'=ALTH & 694 2979 February 10, 1980 ENVIRONMENTAL F;,OTECTION FEB 1 .;1980 RECEIVED Reference: Lot 111; Dorm Subdivision; North Peters Creek A'selm ge system adequacy test was performed on the system located on the referenced property on February 7 and 8, 1980, per your request. The septic tank was pumped and verified to have a capacity of approximately 1250 gallons. The seepage pit was full of water and had to be pumped. After the water had been removed, the pit was recharged with approximately 700 gallons. At the end of a 24 hour period,. me-isurements indicated that 286 gallons had percolated from the system. This is adequate for approximately 1.9 bedrooms. From the above survey and test it can be concluded that the septic tank is adequate, however, the absorption area will require upgrading to accommodate anything over two bedrooms. A permit for the upgrading can be obtained from the Municipality of Anchorage, Department of Heslth and Enviornmental Protection, 825 L. Street, Anchorage, Alaska.
