The permit was issued for a 3 bedroom residence. The contractor/owner, requested that the design be changed to accommodate a 4 bedroom residence. Since then, the groundwater has risen to 5'. We are proposing to install a 1500 gallon S.T.E.P. tank and a pressurized bed type drainfield. Two test holes were excavated on the property. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radii of test holes #8A & 8B. Comments regarding the revisions to the design are summarized as follows: TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 7.5 & 60 minutes/inch b. Combined Application Rate: 0.4 gallons/day/R2 c. Number of Bedrooms: 4 d. Design Flow: 600 gallons per day e. Minimum Absorption Area: 1500 R2 f.
