Box 196650 Anchorage, AK 99519 Re: Hamman Lot 2 into 2 A and 2 B 5 �0 1 1 4 01 Dear Mr. Roth, On behalf of our client, Mr. Bob Swenson, Eagle River Engineering Services (ERES) has investigated the subsurface soils on the above proposed lot subdivision to evaluate their suitability for on-site septic systems. Additionally, neighboring wells and septic systems have been identified, and they have been determined to not affect the proposed lot 2 A and 2 B's abilities to support on-site wells and septic systems. Both lots arc larger than 40,000 square feet, with less than 25% grade on the majority of either lot. Evidence of a water table has been monitored through the month of October, and has been found to be at a depth of 9.2 feet. Soils are well graded sand and gravel with very little silt (GM) to 14' deep. The proposed lot 213 has more than the required 10,000 square feet of area available for an on-site septic system and two replacements. This lot provides for space available to drive a well with 100' radius separation distance to the septic system reserve area. On-site water availability should notbe an issue. The wells on adjacent properties (Lot IB, and Lot 2) produce more than 4 gallons per minute from a confined aquifer. A Health Authority Approval has been conducted and issued for Lot 2 (now 2A) within the past couple of months.
