The system was designed and permitted by Gamess Engineering (Alaska Water & Wastewater Consultants, Inc.). The system was installed per the design and associated permit with no alterations or deviations. Installation was witnessed & inspected by licensed representatives of Gamess Engineering according to their standard inspection schedule and they have approved the system for use. SOILS: See the attached log which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. It is our opinion that due to the overall appearance of the soils, an application rate of 0.5 gallons/day/fe should be used. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: 18-60 minutes/inch b. Proposed Application Rate: 0.5 gallons/day/fe (average) c. Number of Bedrooms: 4 d. Design Flow: 600 gallons per day e. Minimum Absorption Area: 1200 62 f. Total Depth: 6.5 feet (max.) g. TOPOGRAPHY: As can be seen on the attached topography site plan, the average topography in the area of the proposed drainfield is approximately 15 to 20% running northeast to southwest.
