Box 196650 Anchorage, AK 99519 Re: Villages View Estates Lot 1 Narrative & Permit Application Dear Mr. Roth: Eagle River Engineering Services (ERES) was contacted by the owner of the property noted above to design and permit a well and septic system to serve a new 4 bedroom house. Two test holes were excavated on this lot, to verify the soil type in the platted leachfield areas, as fairly strict requirements are in place for the location and type of septic system allowed for this lot on the plat. The homeowner is required to utilize Advantex technology in order to meet all requirements of the platting notes for this lot. The soil type percolates faster than 1 minute per inch. Visual inspection of this soil gives the impression of at least 70% sand, so no 2' filter layer is required. The proposed 4 bedroom septic system and well will have very limited impact on adjacent properties for the following reasons: 1. The surrounding lots are well laid out, so there is room for wells, septic systems and alternate sites. 2. Immediate neighboring septic systems are all +20' distance, and no private (or community) wells within 100' of the proposed septic system. 3. Drainage will not be affected and is not a major consideration in our design Installation of this 4 bedroom Advantex septic system, to our best available knowledge, will not adversely affect the wells or septic systems or reserve areas on adjacent lots. If you have any questions please call our office at 694-5195. Sincerely, EAGLE RIVE ENGINEERING ERVICES Christopher R.
