Providing the following to On -Site Water & Wastewater Division: Information to satisfy the requirements specified by AMC 21.15 and AMC 15.65 must be submitted for each lot within this proposed subdivision. This information must include, but may not necessarily be limited to: • Soils testing, percolation testing, and ground water monitoring must be conducted to confirm the suitability for development using on-site wastewater disposal systems. Additionally, neighboring wells and septics have been identified, and they have been determined to not affect the proposed lot's ability to support on-site wells and septic systems. Both lots are larger than 40,000 square feet, with a consistent 0-2% grade on the majority of either lot. Evidence of a water table has been monitored through the month of May, and has been found to be consistent, and deep enough to allow installation of a conventional septic system. Soils are a well graded SP -GP, to 10' and 11' deep. Test holes were terminated at this depth due to the discovery of a water table at 8' and 9' respectively. There is more than the required 10,000 square feet reserve space on each of the proposed lots for on-site septic systems, and still have plenty of room for wells with 100' radius. We have done this by researching neighboring well logs and water quality records. We have found that neighboring wells produce anywhere from 8-50 gallons per minute. Water quality records, where available, do not show elevated coliform or nitrate levels. Please see attached well logs and IiAA forms for additional information. Well logs show that the aquifer is confined beneath a layer of hardpan (overconsolidated silt) and/or clay, and is therefore a confined aquifer. We believe that new wells on these two proposed lots will have virtually no affect on the ability of this underlying aquifer to produce water at or above the Municipality's required flow rate.
