(AKWWC) has been retained by Robert Bell and Associates to request a well permit to drill three exploratory wells on the proposed Chugach Park SID located in Indian, Alaska. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine if adequate quantities of water are present for residential use without impacting water supplies at surrounding properties. The proposed well locations were established as close to the trail as possible to enable easy access to the drill sites, please sec the attached site plan. Aquifer test procedures will be conducted according to minimum industry standards. If the aquifer is adequate to serve the proposed subdivision without impacting surrounding properties, the wells will be proven effective for single-family residences. If the wells are proven effective, each one will eventually be used by the property owner to serve the single-family residence. Enclosed in the Municipal permit fee for each well of $150.00 and one rush fee, for a total of $600.00.
