Two test holes were excavated in the area of the proposed septic system. The septic system will be designed around the 30 foot radius of these test holes. We are proposing that a 1500 gallon septic tank and a 5 -wide trench type drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the proposed design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. It is our opinion that due to the overall appearance of the soils, an application rate of 1.2 gallons/day/fe should be used. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: a. Percolation Rate: <1 & <1 minutes/inch b.
