GENERAL: The proposed 4 -bedroom home will be served by a private well and septic system. Two test pits were excavated on the property in the area where the proposed septic system and leach field will be constructed. The well is to be located in the area shown on the site plan and design drawings. 2. SOILS: Sec the attached soils soil and percolation tests, which shows the soil classification, groundwater monitoring, and percolation test results. 3. DRAINFIELD APPLICATION RATE: The intent is to install a trench style leach field and a 1,500 gallon steel septic tank, manufactured by Anchorage Tank & Welding. The application rate assumed is 0.45 square feet per bedroom. 4. SURFACE NATER: There is a curtain drain running along the west edge of the property, constructed by the adjacent lot owner, running north -south. The proposed septic system will be installed 50+ feet from the curtain drain and 100+ feet from the small creek. 6. TOPOGRAPHY: As shown on the attached plans, the average site topography varies between 8-12% slope, running approximately southeast to northwest. No slope concerns are evident on the property. 7.
