Rcf: Proposed Well and Septic System for Gateway To The Park; Lot 15, Block I,
To whom it may concern:
The proposed 6 bedroom house is to be served by a private well and septic system. We are proposing to
install a 2000 gallon S.T.E.P. tank with Quanics controls, a 1050 Aerocell pod, and deep trench type
drainfields. Two test holes were excavated on the property by Chris Woood, P.E. The drainfield will be
designed around the 30 foot radius of these test holes. Comments regarding the design are summarized as
follows:
I. SOILS: See the attached logs which shows the soil classifications, and the percolation test results.
Ground water monitering was done on 5/2/2008. Test hole #1 and #2 were dry.
2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications.
3. SURFACE WATERS: There is a creek north of the proposed drainfield that runs northeast to
southwest.
4. TOPOGRAPIIY: As can be seen on the attached design drawing the average topography below the
drainfield is a 30-35 percent slope running approximately east to west. We are proposing to fill grade to
less than a 25 percent slope to a distance 50 feet downhill from the drainfield.
We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems·

To whom it may concern:
The proposed driveway on the subject property, nor the driveway cutbanks will encroach
upon the septic system so as to create a slope that is greater than 25% within 50 feet of
the downhill side of the septic system. The builder, Pepper's Construction, and the
property owner, are aware that no future modifications can be made to the driveway that
~vill cause the slope downhill of the drainfield to exceed 25%, within 50 feet of the
drainfleld.
