NARRATIVE FOR UPGRADE ON SEPTIC SYSTEM
On November 10, 2010, our office perfomed an adequacy test on the well and septic system on
the above-referenced property, as the owner intended to sell the property.
The well was a Iow-producing well, but it passed with a GPM of one gallon per minute. The
seepage pit, however, did not pass, and it was discovered on December 6, 2010, that the seepage
pit was encroaching upon ground water. Also, the well is within 85 feet of the septic tank. At that
time the owner decided to put in a new septic system. A perc test was done and a design was
started in December 2010. The owner then decided to take the house off the market in December,
so the design was not completed,
In May of 2012 our office was again contacted by Mr. Eberhardt who said he was ready to have a
new septic system installed and for us to proceed with the paperwork to obtain a permit.
The property is located in the southeast comer where Klondike and Bimhtree Streets intersect.
The house and garage are located in the middle of the south portion of the lot with the garage
extending almost to the property tine of Lot 42B. The property is treed with cotton wood, spruce,
birch, and alder, and the area where the leach field will be installed is relatively level. The area of
the lot is about 46,407 square feet, and the placement of the new system will have no adverse
effect on adjoining Iots,

Water Well Advisory
Certificate of On -Site Systems Approval (COSA) # OSC201305
During a recent COSA on-site inspection and test of the potable water supply
well on Lot 42A of Travis Estates subdivision, the well's productivity was
determined to be .55 gallons per minute. The minimum well productivity
required by this Department (AMC 15.55) for a 4 -bedroom residence is .41
gallons per minute. Although the subject well currently exceeds this
minimum requirement, all parties concerned are advised that the production
capacity of the well may fluctuate. Restriction of non-critical water uses such
as washing cars and watering lawns and gardens may be required.
This advisory must be attached to all copies of the subject Certificate of On -
Site Systems Approval.
