Dear Onsite Services Engineer:
The owner of the subject lot intends to construct a four bedroom home on the site.
Unfortunately water is not available to the lot and a new well must be constructed. The
location of the well is shown on the attached Site Plan. The lot is surrounded by the
AWWU sewer system and a new service will be extended to the home; The lot is small
however and the location of the well is critical.
The well will be placed along the south property line near the middle of the lot. At this
location is it more than 100' from the sewer manholes near the northwest corner and
the sewer main cleanout at the northeast corner. It is also slightly more than 75' from
the sewer main fronting the lot. The lot to the south and the lots to the east are served
by the AWWU sewer and water systems.
The location of the well and the proposed location of the house and sewer service on
the lot will not impact adjacent properties. If the well and sewer service are constructed
in accordance with our design the following statements apply:
The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on the wells in
the area or those to be constructed in the future.
The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on existing
septic systems in the area or those to be constructed in the future.
The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on reserve
space, either surface or subsurface, on any lots located in the area.
