Legal:SHELL #1 LOT 11 To whom it may concern: This is a request for a septic permit plus a 90’ waiver from well to tank, a 5’ waiver from field to property and a 2’ waiver from tank to property line on the above referenced lot. Due to the location of the existing well the original septic was encroaching into the well radius. Justification for the tank waiver is the well is uphill by several feet from the proposed location and the new tank will be sealed for any contaminates leaking. A water sample is included with this submittal showing excellent results. The new field has very limited space and lowering the separation distance to 5’ from the field to the property will not impact any of the neighboring lots. Also due to the existing well radius and the allowable space it was decided to push the tank as far as possible into the corner which required a 2’ waiver to the property line. This new system and the waivers will not impact any of the surrounding properties, see site plan. The neighboring system to the west is 10’ from the new proposed system, 5’ from each side. A new perc test was done and found excellent soils, (2 minutes per inch), clean sand SW for the entire depth, with water at 12’, see soil log. Using this August reading the max depth is 6’. The lot slopes gently about 5 percent from the east to the west. As stated above, none of this proposed design will impact the surrounding neighbors. Sincerely Michael N.
