Box 196650 Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6650 Fax 249-7847 Re: Well and Septic Permit with Waiver renewal Legal: Prator S/D, Blk 7, Lot 2 To Whom it may concern: This is a request for a renewal of the septic and well permit. A test hole was excavated to 16 feet revealing silty sandy gravel for the entire test hole depth. The perc rate was 28 minutes per inch with no water observed during excavation but after 7 day monitoring the water was measured at the bottom of the hole, 16 feet. A simple deep trench has been designed with 7 feet of effective depth. The slopes at the septic area are greater than 25% therefore fill will be added to the area from the house excavation to keep it less than 25% for 50 feet. The site has been filled for the house therefore fill for the septic area will not be a problem, see the site plan. We are also requesting a slope waiver from the existing slope which is greater than 25 percent. The lot has a lot of fill already and additional fill will be added to create slopes less than 25 percent down slope from the proposed leach field, see site plan.
