To whom it may concern:
The existing 2 bedroom house is served by a private well and a privy. We are proposing to install a 1250
gallon septic tank and dual deep trench type drainfields. The proposed septic system is sized for a 4
bedroom house for possible future expansion. Attached are a site plan and a design drawing showing the
proposed septic system. Two test holes were excavated on the property. The drainfields will be designed
around the 30 foot radii of these test holes. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: See the attached logs which show the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, m~d the
percolation test results.
2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications.
3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface water concerns.
4. TOPOGRAPItY: As can be seen on the attached site plan, the topography below the drainfield is 20-
25% running northeast to southwest. In short, them are no slope concerns.
We are unawarepf {ny adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.

Reft Waiver Request: Proposed Septic Tank Over 100' From Point of Access,
To whom it may concern:
The proposed 1250 gallon septic tank location is located over 100 feet from the point of access. We are
requesting tbat the 100 foot or less separation requirement be waived by your department. Below are the
justifications:
· There is a clearing along side the stair casing going all the way up to the house creating easy access for
the pumper.
· Attached is a letter from a MOA certified pumper stating that he would be able to pump a septic tank
from a distance of 200 feet away from an access point.

Thanks for the information request regard/rig pumping and the prsctical distances
involved. My company and most of my competition can ind~i pump a system
thoroughly at distances up to and beyond the 200 f~et that you indicate the need for.
The l//t is more of an issuo than the distance in tiffs c~se. You have informed me that the
parking area is actually below the tank level, so o~her than the requ/red hose to re. ach thc
tank etc, there would be no special requiroments to service that unit.
