A new test hole was excavated to 12 feet which showed poorly graded gravels for the entire depth and water at 9 feet, it stabilized at 8.5 feet after the 7 day monitoring period. The perc rate was 3 minutes per inch done in the top 3 feet of the soil. The old 1000 gallon concrete tank will be decommissioned per the UPC and a new 1250 gallon steel tank installed outside the existing well radius. The leach field design consists of a 58 foot long shallow 5 -wide trench constructed perpendicular to the slope of the lot , see the plan. A reserve are for the 4 bedroom system has been shown. No cut banks or slopes greater than 25 percent exist within 100 feet of the new system. This new system will not impact any of the neighboring properties due to the lot layout.
