Two test holes were excavated on the property and logged by Anderson Engineering (Michael E. Anderson, P.E.). The proposed septic system will be designed around the 30 foot radii of these test holes. An additional testhole was excavated by GEG and had perked at >120 min/inch, the proposed drainfield must be installed outside of the 30 foot radius of this teshole. We are proposing that a 1500 gallon S.T.E.P. tank with a Category II Quanics Acrocell Treatment System and a bed type drainfield be installed. Comments regarding the proposed design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: Attached are two logs which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. Groundwater was monitored on 5/16/2014 by GEG, Ltd. The groundwater in testhole #1 was found to be 9.5 feet below grade and testhole #2 was found to be dry to 10 feet below grade. 2. TRENCH DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications. 3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface waters within 100 feet of the proposed septic system. 4. TOPOGRAPHY: As can be seen on the attached topography site plan, the topography where the bed shall be placed is nearly flat (0-5% slope). The drainfield shall be placed 50'+ from all slopes exceeding 25%. I am unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems.
