Survey 3200 is bordered by TRACT B-1 (undeveloped) to the north, U.S.S. 1868 (undeveloped) to the south, LOT 1 U.S.S. Survey 3200 (residential) to the east, and LOT 3 U.S.S. Survey 3200 (residential) to the west. The lot topography is general characterized by sloping in a south easterly direction with a drainage stream flowing through the property and exiting on the south west side. Lot 1 has a well house located approximately 35' from the property line. Lot 3 appears to have no conflicting on—site services or topographical features. The site parameters considered for the development of this lot are identified on the Site Plan. The client's proposed lot development is a 1200 square foot addition increasing their total number of bedrooms to five (5). The existing well and unrecorded septic system are inadequate and will be abandoned and removed. Two test pits were dug on 3/22-23/94. A perched water table was encountered in test pit #2 ®8.0'. Monitoring tubes were placed in each test pit and rechecked on 3/25 & 4/2. Test pit no. 1 generally consisted of SANDY SILT with GRAVEL (SM) to approx. 4' below the existing ground surface underlain by SANDY GRAVEL with SILT to approximately 8'. Fractured rock with sand and silt was encountered to the end of the test pit, approx. 10'. On 4/2/94 1" of water was recorded in the monitering tube, approx. 10' below the existing ground surface. This test pit had a percolation rate of 7 minutes per inch between 4' and 5' below the existing ground surface. The second test pit generally consisted of SILT with SAND and GRAVEL (ML) to approx. 8.5' below the existing ground surface with a percolation rote of 45 minutes per inch between 4.2' and 4.7' below the existing ground surface. The percolation test hole was saturated overnight and the test was run on 3/23/94. The obsorbtion field size is based on 15 min/inch. Replacement field size is based on 45 per inch. Casing driven to 40 ft. 40 - 205' Bedrock. A very hard sedimentary rock. 1/2 gpm water yield showing by 65 ft. From thin fissures & cracks in the bedrock. By 165 ft a total of 2 gpm was showing out of granular type rock. From 173 to 176 ft. an additional 2 gpm was showing coming out of a porous type rock. At this depth, 4 gpm was produced at short duration pumping (30 minutes) then the production dropped down to about 3 gpm. By 205 ft., (196-199) production increased to a total of steady 8 gpm. (Two hours of pumping.) During short term pumping (30 minutes) gpm indicated a steady ten. A 1/2 horse submersible pump should be installed at the 160 ft. level. But a 3/4 horse pump, if used, should be installed at about 180 ft. 25 ft. off bottom. The water has been pump almost crystal clear, but will pump a slight amount of silt in the first two hours, on installation of sub pump. Water recovery is back up to within 35 ft. of surface. No mob or demob cost. This Well paid for in full with 30 ft. no charge. COST INCLUDES ALL LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR COMPLETION OF SAID DRILLING.
