We are submitting an application for the installation of a upgrade septic system for this lot. The existing crib has
been found corroded to such an extent that its structural integrity has been compromised. We are assuming that the
tank is similarly compromised. This submittal consists of three (3) drawings showing the present improvements on
the lot and the adjoining properties, (sheet 1/3), the proposed improvements of the lot, of which only septic system
issubjectt~thispermitapp~icati~n~(sheet2/3)~andaschematic~fthesepticsystem~(sheet3/3). Soil logs and
percolation tests of applicable testholes are also enclosed. The septic system design is based on the following:

A steep slope cuts cross the property along the fence line as shown. The proposed drainfield is located
approximately 45 feet from the top of this slope. The theoretical intersection of a slope at 25% from the drain field
and the slope is more than 50 feet from the drain field.
The installation of this septic system will not prevent wells from being installed on the adjacent lots.
There are no developed or natural surface / sub surface drainage courses on this or the adjacent lots.
The proposed septic system will not change the general slope of the area. Ponding and/or concentration of surface
runoff will not result from this installation.

TEST PROCEDURE: System was inspec±ied and measured Ge March
2S. Tack was found with 8.5 ~eet o~ cover. Crib clean eut was 10
ft. deep with 28 inches o~ liquid. 700 gallons was added to the
crib~ T'his caused the water level to rise i7.5 inches.
The next day the water level in the c:rib was ~ound t.o be 13
inches. Again 600 gallens o'F (clean water was added te the crib
whic:h caused the water level to rise 21 :i. nc:hes. Within 10 minut:es
the water level dropped 2.5 inclnes. The next day the water- depth
was found to be 10.5 inchee, :Lnclicatinq that the syst. em was
eperating satis~actery.
