This investigation was performed in accordance with your request of May 9, 1973 and those procedures outlined in a letter dated September 13, 1971 by 1V[r. Rol~ Strickland o~ the Greater Anchorage Area Borough~ Department of Environmental Quality. A sip~le test hole was put down within the Lot 55]- area for the purpose of defining general subsurface soil conditions ~or the proposed sanitary system. Excavation was accomplished.with a tractor-mounted backhoe and the test hole was extended to a total depth o~ ll feet below ground surface. The ~inal log prepared for the test hole has been included in Drawing A-01. Ground water was not encountered in the test hole. We appreciate being given this opportunity 'to be of service to you. Submitted with the request was a drawing dated Play 16, 2001, Indicating the location of the utility easement and the existing encroachment. AWWU water and sanitary sewer mains are not available to the referenced lot. AWWU issues this letter with stipulations to allow the septic system within the easement and by using It the property owner is agreeing to the following: 1.
