Pipple Subdivision; Addition #2 A sewer system adequacy was performed on the system located on the referenced property, as you requested. The septic tank and seepage pit had to be excavated and clean -outs placed in each. After this was done the septic tank was pumped and the tank was verified to have a.capacity of 1000 gallons. The seepage pit was charged with 1000 gallons of fresh water and after a period of 24 hours it was determined -that approximately 1168 gallons of water had percolated out of the crib. It can be concluded from this test that the waste water disposal system is currently functioning adequately'for its current use, however, based upon your proposed construction of a'10,000 square foot retail sales outlet building, it will be necessary for you to have a 500 gallon septic tank added to the existing tank. The seepage pit should provide adequately percolation for the amount of water anticipated based upon the fixture units that you have identified for this retail sales outlet. The entire system, however, has been in existance for many years and cannot be guaranteed against subsequent failure. If we may be of further service, please do not hesitate to contact US.
