No water main fronts the lot and now water service is available. We are therefore requesting a permit be issued to construct a pdvate well on the lot. The location of the well is shown on the attached Site Plan. The lot is surrounded by the AWWU sewer system and a new service will be extended to the home. The lot is small however and the location of the well is critical. The well will be placed at back of the house near the middle of the lot. At this location it is more than 100' from the sewer main and all sewer man holes, it is also more than 25' from the sewer service to be constructed on the lot. The lot to the south is currently vacant and cannot be developed until Zurich Street is constructed.The lots to the north and west are served by the AWWU sewer and water systems. The location of the well and the proposed location of the house and sewer service on the lot will not impact adjacent properties. If the well and sewer service are constructed in accordance with our design the following statements apply: The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on the wells in the area or those to be constructed in the future. The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on existing septic systems in the area or those to be constructed in the future. The well, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on reserve space, either surface or subsurface, on any lots located in the area.
