We are therefore requesting a permit k the construction of a new well and septic system to accommodate the attached Site Plan and backup documentation identify the location and con the proposed well and septic system along with the alternate site. Also ider plans are the existing wells and septic systems on surrounding lots. The north and west are vacant and no conflicts exist between the proposed we system and wells or septic systems on adjacent lots. Drainage arrows are sl site plan showing the grade and direction of flow on the lot. The drainage not change as a result of this project. The test holes placed on the lot in the area of the absorption trench and a were not consistent with that placed during the subdivision phase. OU indicated organic material to 1' underlain by 1.5' of poorly graded gravel material was underlain by gravel and sand with silt (GW/GM/SM) becoming depth. The percolation rate of the soil was determined to be 7-9 minut Groundwater was found at 15' during the placement of the subdivision to rose to 14.5' during the monitoring period. The percolation rate in the len; 2.5' is faster than 1 minute per inch. The underlying material however is i and effluent which passes through the sidewall of the faster material will pas least 12' of the slower percolating material before it reaches the groundwati application rate of .8 gallons per day per square foot was used in the d absorption system. We are proposing to place a new 1,500 -gallon STEP tai long by 5' wide by 4' effective depth absorption trench to treat and dis effluent generated in the house. In HO of fill 2" of insulation and 2' of fill will be placed over the absorption trench and 4' over thie septic tank. I j The ground surface on the lot in the area of the septic system slopes to the northwest. The new trench will be constructed parallel with the contours of the slope as much as possible in conformance with Municipal requirements. The new septic sy tend will be constructed a minimum of 100' from all wells and any surface water and 110' the proposed and existing water services in the area. j If the system is constructed in accordance with our design the apply: 1. The system, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact On the wells in the area or those to be constructed in the future. 2. The system, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on septic systems in the area or those to be constructed in the future. 3. The system, if constructed as designed, will have no adverse impact on space, either surface or subsurface, on any lots located in the area. j 4.
