Two new test holes has been completed and found sanity silt for the entire 17 foot depth with no water observed during the excavation or after the 7 day monitoring period. The perc rate was found to be 20 minutes per inch. The new replacement system will be a 4 bedroom system consisting ora deep trench with 7 feet of effective depth and a 1500 gallon STEP tank due to the elevation change, see site plan. The old system will be decommissioned per the UPC. The lot has a gentle slope of 3 to 5 percent to the north but the leach field area is flat. No cut banks or slopes greater than 25 percent exist within 100 feet of the proposed new system. This new system will not impact any of the surrounding properties due to the lot layout.
