The property owner is proposing to build a four (4) bedroom home that will be served by a private well and septic system. We are proposing to install a new 1250 gallon septic tank and deep trench type drainfield. Two testholes were excavated on the property and the drainfield is designed around the 30 foot radius of testhole #2. Comments regarding the design are summarized as follows: 1. SOILS: See the attached 2016 logs which show the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring, and the percolation test results. 2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications. 3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface water concerns. 4. TOPOGRAPHY: See the attached 40 scale design drawing which shows topography. The average topography around the proposed drainfield is 17%. There is a cutbank towards the west property line, however, the proposed drainfield is >50 feet away from the cutbank. We are unaware of any adverse impacts this installation would have on adjacent wells or septic systems. If you have any questions, please contact us at 337-6179.
