Ref: Proposed Well and Septic System for Cousens Subdivision #1; Lot 1
To whom it may concern:
The subject lot is undeveloped and the owner would like to build a 2 bedroom cabin on the
property that will be served by a private well and septic system. One test hole was excavated on
the property. The drainfield will be designed around the 30 foot radius of this test hole. Comments
regarding the design are summarized as follows:
1. SOILS: See the attached log which shows the soil classifications, groundwater monitoring,
and the percolation test results. This soil log is on file at the MOA.
2. DRAINFIELD DESIGN: See attached design drawing for drainfield specifications.
3. SURFACE WATERS: There are no surface water concerns.
4. TOPOGRAPHY AND SLOPE WAIVER: The site plan and design drawings show the
topography information. During the recent subdivision process, the topography for the property
was addressed and a slope waiver was granted based upon a generic design. We have completed
a design in line with this generic design and have included the cross section.
