The attached site plan identifies the location of the home as well as the wells and septic location. No conflicts exist between this proposed system and any other wells or septic system, whether on this lot or adjacent lots. We are replacing the septic tank with the same size designed for 4 bedrooms. At the time of installation the missing pipes on the existing system will be repaired or replaced as needed, and cover will be added to the field to ensure minimum 2’ of soil over the insulation covering the laterals. Drainage in the reserve area shown on the Site Plan could be improved by construction of a curtain drain along its east and north sides. The lot slopes generally to the west at 5 - 15%. The primary wastewater disposal area is a low gravel ridge approximately 10 feet higher than the land to the west. Because of highly permeable soils overlying the water table, a 2' sand filter will be required. Construction in the reserve area will probably require a "mound type" system.
