This approval has been on hold pending the installation of a monitoring tube approximately 20 feet downhill from the seepage bed. A monitoring tube was installed and water was not encountered at the i time of d~illing. However, after a period of 10 days the water level was checked and found to be at approximately 9 feet below the surface of the ground. This is the same level that was noted on the soil test dated June 27, 1982 and was the basis for design and installation of the system in October, 1982.
