The system, I believe, consists of several barrels connected together functioning as a cesspool. The system is in failure and they are in dire need of sewage disposal. As a permit for a conventional system cannot be issued due to the steep slopes, please consider issuing a permit for a 2,000 gallon holding tank situated at the location shown for the septic tank on the original permit application site plan. In the spri]lg of 1994 the owner proposes to build a new 3 BR home which will then utilize the septic system. The lot slopes are grearer than the normally allowi however with a shallow trench benched into the slope it slope will not bea problem. The system will have no significant impact on water or waste water systems on adjacent'lots. Reserved space and drainage w~ll not be adversely impacted.
