RE: Percolation Test, Lot 37,-4~im~d Subdivision
· Telephone (907) 272-2716
Dear Mr. Bucholz:
Regarding our telephone conversation on this date, I wish to clarify the
procedure followed on the above percolation test. Soil samples recovered
while drilling the hole showed the sediments to be in a highly saturated
condition. It was obvious that following a saturation program as recommended
by the Department would be superfluous; that program was waived, and a
percolation test was run immediately. The results of that test are now in
your files.
If you have any other questions regarding this or any other matter, please
feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,

Dear Sir:
Enc],osed is a Soi lq Prof'i]e/Percol,'tt:ion Test performed for
Mr. qreg Gill. As you will note, the percolation t,,st data
is not consistent with the ~oil ratings. It i~; my belief
that t. he discrepancy is due to outflow into one of the three
gravel layers encountered, as th,: clays encountered appear
quite impermiab]e.
Sincerely,
Jay K. Turner
