Other cr:ses: 17. -3631 Lots 2A :and 2A, I)e1uciti Subdivision Public sewer and water does not serve this area. We have no objection to the lot line shift. 18. S-3644 Lots 1A, 2A and 3A, Block 1, Girdwood Townsite, U.S. Survey No. 1177 Public sewer and water does not serve this area. oa'e have no objection to the right-of-way vacation. The note on the plat tau st adequately notify buyers of the conditions on 2A and 3A. Lots 2A and 3A will have to be served by public sower before they cern be developed and the note should state this. 19. S-3627 Lots 8A and 8.3 , Block 4, Drake Subdivision This; area is not served by public sewer a nd water. The soils tests show these two lots are not acceptable for on-site sewage disposal. The soils data on these two lots is very similar to tests run on lots 1, 2 and 7 to the north and east. Without adequate soils for waste disposal there is rio acceptable method for developing this property. The lot split does not moot our requirements. 20. S-3647 Ilempton ll`ills Subdivision Public sower and water does not serve thisarea. Water - Water availability will be adequate for all lots in the proposed subdivision. Soils - The soils tests generally show tho area i.^: adequate. We will need specific tests on each lot prior to inal? Y .y1J 'v ✓ ul. . Slope - t 'o aro very concerned about the 45° slope on lots 1, 2 and 3, mock •1. We want to check this area very closely prior to final approval. This this t?roa is not accessible at the present tirae. The lot corners aro not staked ,rid the roads are not constructed. We Leel preliminary approval could be f_•'i en with submission of soils information coiling in with the final plat. Exploration consisted of two (2) twenty foot test holes drilled by Denali Drilling, Inc. employing Nodwell mounted, Mobile B-50 drill, fitted with an 6", continuous flight auger. Grab samples were taken at various intervals by pulling the auger out of the test hole and removing the sample from the flights of the auger from near the bit. The soils were visually classified in the field in accordance with Sheets 1 through 3, following the text. This field classification was verified by visual review of sam- ples based on the same criteria, in the laboratory. The drilling was supervised and the test holes were logged by O.M. Hatch, geologist of our staff. The test hole location sketch which follows immediately after the text shows the approximate locations of the test holes, as determined by Mr. Hatch. The compilation of the field and lab- oratory information is contained in the test hole logs which follow immediately: Test Hole 1 Depth in Feet From To 0.0' 2.5' Soil Description F-2, olive, gravelly silty sand (fill), damp, SM 2.5° 3.0' Brown, peat (old ground surface), PT continued Mr. Hank Buege Page 2 April 1, 1975 Test Hole 1 (continued) Depth in Feet From To 3.0° 6.0° 6.0' 12.0° 12.0' 14.0' 14.0' 15.0' 15.0' 20.0° Soil Description F-2, grey, silty sand, saturated, SM "_Li F-4, grey, sandy silt with _tr.aces gravel, damp to wet, NB, ML -1') F-2, grey, silty sand, saturated, SM F-4, ML tan, gravelly sandy silt, damp, stiff, ( F-1, olive, silty sand aravel, damp, medium density, rounded particles, 1", QM 2c Bottom of Test Hole: 20.0' Frost Line: 2.0° Free Water Level: 4.5' Type of Sample Depth Sample 1 5.0° G 2 7.5' G 3 10.0' G 4 12.5° G 5 15.0° G 6 20.0' G Remarks: 1.
