Sewer Service to LOt 10, Block 4, Eaqle River Heights North
Ms. Joyce Porte of Area, Inc. Realtors in Eagle River recently
contacted my office with concerns about a septic system on the
subject lot. It seems the septic system is in need of repair and
the property owner understandably does not want to go through
the expense of repairs if municipal sewer service would be
available in the near future.
This is to inform you that an engineering design is being ini-
tiated on Tonsina Court (LID 50-11) which does include the sub-
ject property. The LID was approved by the Assembly on January
6, 1981 and will be designed out of house by a consulting
engineer.
Barring any unforeseen problems, it is anticipated that construc-
tion of this project will take place by early fall of this year.
If you wish to check on the status of this project at a later
date, please feel free to contact our engineering and planning
division.

Approval for the individual sewer an~water facilities

A four(4) inch cleanout needs to be installed to the
seepage area and reinspected by this department.
The septic tank pumped with a receipt submitted to this
department. The total number of gallons pumped needs
to be on the receipt and verified by a registered engineer
as to the actual number of gallons pumped. This is to
verify the size of the septic tank.
An adequacy test needs to be performed on the existing
leaching area. This test will determine if the system
is adequate according to National Standards. A listing
of private firms performing the test is enclosed. This
report needs to be submitted to this office for our
review.
