The septic tank was pumped on 27 September 1978 and in accordance with Municipality records, has a liquid capacity of 1,000 gallons~ The system consis~in~ of a seepage pit was charged with 1,00,) gallons of water. Percolation over a 26 hour period as recorded on 28 September 1978 resulted in the total re.oval of 1,657 g~llone or in excess of 552 gallons per bedroom.
