SHAFER CIVIL ENGINEER 694-2979 Reference: Lot 7: Block 2: Earl Ray Subdivision A sewer system adequacy test was performed on the system located on the referenced property as you requested. The septic tanks for the main dwelling and the two bedroom 5railer house located on this propersy were all pumped. The two septic tanks for the main dwelling were verified to have a capacity of approximately 1000 gallons each. The septic tank for the trailer was verified to have a capacity of approximately 750 gallons. The absorption trench connecting these three septic tanks provides effluent disposal for five bedrooms in the main dwelling, two bedrooms in the trailer, a small snack stall automotive garage having one rest room. There is also located in the main dwelling a room w~th video machines and two rest rooms, one male and one female with one water closet and one lavatory in each. The absorption trench was tested by a continuous flow of water over a period of 48 hours. The flow rate was adjusted to merely represent the composite of all the requirements generated from the existing facilities~ At the conclusion of the 48 hour period the flow for each 24 hour period was determined uo have no adverse effect on the system. It-can be concluded from this test that the waste wat~r~d~isposat system serving the composite of facilities loCated on this property is currently funCtioning adequately.
